This is a 100% organically grown yerba mate, straight from Argentina (Ilex Paraguariensis).
In 1926 immigrants started to cultivate mate tea. On July 24 1930, the Agrícola Mixta de Montecarlo Limitada formed a federation of peasants of the region.
This organic yerba mate is a natural and environmentally friendly option, since from the plant and during all stages of the production process, the use and/or contact with chemical products is avoided. From the yerba mate fields to the final consumer, the main focus is on the care and conservation of natural resources and the environment, providing a high quality product.

Fill ¾ of the mate cup with yerba mate.
Cover the opening, turn it upside down and shake it gently.
Tilt the yerba to one side at about a 45° angle.
Pour a small amount of warm water (40°C) into the emptier area.
Wait 20–40 seconds for the yerba to absorb the water.
Insert the bombilla while covering its tip.
Add hot water (80°C) without filling the mate completely and always pour in the same spot.
